For optimal utilization of the Digitar
lens production line in professional digital
photography, Schneider-Kreuznach has developed an electronic
shutter of size 0. Because of its compact
mode of construction with a diameter of only 80 mm, it
fits into almost every recessed lens panel, and hence
can be adapted to use on almost all large-format
cameras.

The new mobile
control device with
an illuminated LCD-display and weather-proof membrane
keypad make for more ease of operation in working with
the Electronic Shutter from Schneider-Kreuznach.
Further details helpful in actual use are an
integrated battery charger, a tripod bushing, and the
possibility of attaching an external battery pack. The
temperature control which it contains makes it
possible to use the device in winter, "on
location."

By using a Hasselblad ELM/X
adapter, it can be attached to all the usual digital
camera backs; a fixed jack plug assures accurate flash
synchronization.
The diaphragm focusing is
adjustable in 1/10 and 1/2 steps, the time in single
aperture increments; also possible are time exposures of
up to 12 hours.
