Dubai Cityscapes

During a job in Dubai last autumn we took some photographs of our own of cityscapes and construction sites.

Like Shanghai, Dubai is currently experiencing a building boom – new, tall buildings are appearing on every corner. In Dubai, we took completely digital photographs with a Phase One back for our Sinar
P2. Once again, the Schneider lenses produced impressive results.

As the chip of the back measures only 4.89 x 3.69 cm, more extreme wide angle lenses are needed to create comparable images such as the 47 with a format of 4x5''. Comparable per- spectives are now made possible by the newly developed Apo-Digitar 5.6/35mm XL lens from Schneider which we now use frequently.
